The daughter’s right. Let’s recap. A woman loses a passport and it’s images are posted on a public forum. The good intentions (return it to the rightful owner) are questionable though via the addition of the female grading adjective “sexy” in the title. She doesn’t claim to be sexy, the forum moderator does. She is then subjected to a public humiliation about her looks by a bunch of insecure knuckle draggers having a bit of sport at her expense (I thought tof supposedly specialized in this kind of stuff?) When the daughter objects, she is also shit upon. You know what? a bit of righteous indignation just might be in line here.

The forum moderator was unlikely to have known that Sovann had any children when he composed the thread. In all fairness, he should change the title to "Khmer American MILF Loses Her Passport in Battambang".

Anyway, how did the daughter find this thread? Did she google her mother? No children should do that.

I agree with Stiliko mostly.
I think the word Sexy in the title was overly provocative considering it concerns someone's lost passport.
But, as a case for the defense, I would argue that this is a standard Khmer heading - Sexy woman, Cute girl gets robbed etc. However, seen out of the Cambodian context of a Khmer news injoke, it looks sexist, and the remarks that follow are not CEO's finest offerings.

I get why the daughter is upset, but there are worse things than having your mum labeled as sexy on an internet forum 2 years ago. I'd say forget it. It was forgotten until the daughter found this on internet somewhere.

To the poster kokivun, I'd advise you not to comment on this anymore, you are only bumping up old news and creating new news, but if you want to get the thread removed or altered, then contact the OP - original poster GM.
