This sexy Cambodian girl gets caught stealing a phone in City Mall, Phnom Penh and gets attacked by an angry mob.

The beating would have likely been more brutal if she wasn't so hot.

So she was caught, right, and the guy walking next to her was escorting her to .. where? The police station? Why do they stop at this stall?

She is a thief, we got it.
People hitting, slapping and kicking her as she sits there defenseless, silent and not even giving it back are just as despicable and a shame for the Cambodian people.

Damn, the whole thing is fucked up: the thievery, the beating, the absence of humane reaction, the phone filming, the laughing snide remarks, the media distribution?

Disgusted all around.

I agree that beating a thief reflects badly on Cambodian people, but I suspect they have no other way to control theft until the police lift their game.

Does anyone else feel that this was staged?

I don't think so. The average Cambodians don't strike me as convincing actors and stunts performers.

However, I didn't watch the clip in its entirety, but are the guys police officers or just mall security people?
It seems they specifically walk to that stall where the beating starts. So it might be where she snatched a phone or something?
And they meant to leave retribution up to the theft "victim"?

They just look like mall security dudes. There is no uniform, not even a district security one. Might not even be security per se, but just management or something.

The older woman who seems hell bent on getting jabs in is the shop owner, maybe?

I don't like the fact that the beatdowns always occur with such lopsided numbers and crowd mentality takes over. I can see the shop owner getting a few punches and kicks in before she's hauled off, but why the hell do the other customers want to beat her? It is pretty cowardly.

that was tame....i wont bore you with stories ....but the majority of the world would do the same when catching thieves in the act....
