Sexual health clinics in PP

Post by SouthWestExpat »

Hi all,

I slept with a local lady the other day (not a prostitute), and I'm pretty sure I've got the clap. Which is nice.

Can someone recommend clinics where I can get tested? Ideally as cheap as possible (but obviously reputation is more important than cost).

Also - with work it's quite difficult to get there in the day, sp any that are open in the evenings would be ideal.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, but as it's your first post we will need pictures just to be sure you are not trolling.

Someone I know was in a similar predicament, figured he had chlamydia, so just went to the nearest pharmacy and got azithromycin. It usually comes in 500mg pills, he researched and found he needed to take a single 1 gram dose. It worked a treat...apparently.

I expect that Paramed on st 154 will do this. Google it for exact location and opening hours. Be careful they don't ramp up the bill by checking more than you need.
BTW, when you say the other day, if it was less than two weeks it is unlikely to be an STI.

You will have to sit it out for a while. I don't know any STI which is reliably detectable after 24 hours.

Run some checks after a week or 10 days, or take 1000 mg of azithromicine / zithromax in one time to wipe out some bugs before testing.

<edit>
If you've got an itchy Willy that soon it might be just fungus. Buy yourself an antifungal cream and your lady 3 pieces of clotrimazol 500 mg vaginal tablets.

obviously not an armchair doctor as well

The symptoms of gonorrhea may also appear within 24-48 hours following contact. The most common sign of gonorrhea is a thick, cloudy or bloody discharge from the penis or the vagina.

The symptoms of herpes may appear within 24-48 hours following contact.

Chlamydia, which is the most commonly reported sexually transmitted disease, may be reactive the next day

You can indeed detect sooner with a swab test, but those are pretty hard to find in the Penh.

If you are sure it is just clap, just go to pharmacy and buy original Zithromax, there should be 3x500mg pills, so eat 2pills at first day and 1 pill at second day. And buy ORIGINAL zithromax made by Pfizer.. I always eat that just in case before i fly back to home.

I did say unlikely, not impossible. You provide a link to a website that seeks to profit from people's fears and skews the info accordingly.

Your Honour, I am willing to concede that my learned friend has a far greater knowledge of sexually transmitted diseases than I do. I have no further cross-examination of the witness and I rest my case.
