School in Sihanoukville
Anyone aware of decent schools in Sihanoukville for foreigners/khmer kids?
Re: School in Sihanoukville
There are plenty of schools in Sihanoukville, BUT you mentioned the word "decent"......so that would bring it down to 0. Move to Siem Reap ......plenty of decent schools here. No drugs, no whores.....perfect environment for a child.Jacobincambodia wrote:Anyone aware of decent schools in Sihanoukville for foreigners/khmer kids?
Und der Haifisch der hat Tränen
Und die laufen vom Gesicht
Doch der Haifisch lebt im Wasser
So die Tränen sieht man nicht
In der Tiefe ist es einsam
Und so manche Träne fliesst
Und so kommt es dass das Wasser
In den Meeren salzig ist
Und die laufen vom Gesicht
Doch der Haifisch lebt im Wasser
So die Tränen sieht man nicht
In der Tiefe ist es einsam
Und so manche Träne fliesst
Und so kommt es dass das Wasser

Lol, no drugs or whores? fuk its changed a LOT in 3 months then. I just LOVE the SR puritans who put shit on S/ville, but who walk around their own town with their eyes wide shut!Francis wrote:There are plenty of schools in Sihanoukville, BUT you mentioned the word "decent"......so that would bring it down to 0. I would, if I could, but I can't because that what you want doesn't exist.Jacobincambodia wrote:Ok, so can either of you actually offer any helpful info?

Mate I don't have kids here, so its not been something I've ever looked into. But I do have friends here who have kids, so I will try to find out for you what I can in the next couple of days. I would also suggest you ask on Sihanoukville Expats F.B page -Jacobincambodia wrote:Ok, so can either of you actually offer any helpful info?

Mate, next time you come, you really need to get off Victory Hill, get out of the plaza and stop going to Dolphin shack. Better yet, ring me and I will show you the other, more "Genteel" parts of town and introduce you to some decent people. And yes, there is a much different side to this place then you out-of- towners get to see usually.Just as there is a much different side of your OWN town that you simply refuse to admit existsFrancis wrote:Yes, yes, yes......thanx for the puritan. Re: School in Sihanoukville
Thanx for the offer, but I have lived in Sihanoukville for 1.5 years. Now this is a while back and things that time where surely not as bad as they are these days. But already that time I have learned to hate these idiotic Western business owners that behaved as the entire city would belong to them. Stupid rumors about everything and everybody all the time. Then this nasty whore syndrome began to develop and then the drugs came, and then I said goodbye with no intention whatsoever to return.
