School in Sihanoukville

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

There are plenty of schools in Sihanoukville, BUT you mentioned the word "decent"......so that would bring it down to 0. Move to Siem Reap :D ......plenty of decent schools here. No drugs, no whores.....perfect environment for a child.
Und der Haifisch der hat Tränen
Und die laufen vom Gesicht
Doch der Haifisch lebt im Wasser
So die Tränen sieht man nicht

In der Tiefe ist es einsam
Und so manche Träne fliesst
Und so kommt es dass das Wasser
In den Meeren salzig ist

I would, if I could, but I can't because that what you want doesn't exist.

Mate I don't have kids here, so its not been something I've ever looked into. But I do have friends here who have kids, so I will try to find out for you what I can in the next couple of days. I would also suggest you ask on Sihanoukville Expats F.B page -

Mate, next time you come, you really need to get off Victory Hill, get out of the plaza and stop going to Dolphin shack. Better yet, ring me and I will show you the other, more "Genteel" parts of town and introduce you to some decent people. And yes, there is a much different side to this place then you out-of- towners get to see usually.Just as there is a much different side of your OWN town that you simply refuse to admit exists

Thanx for the offer, but I have lived in Sihanoukville for 1.5 years. Now this is a while back and things that time where surely not as bad as they are these days. But already that time I have learned to hate these idiotic Western business owners that behaved as the entire city would belong to them. Stupid rumors about everything and everybody all the time. Then this nasty whore syndrome began to develop and then the drugs came, and then I said goodbye with no intention whatsoever to return.
