Sanctuary - A Social Experiment

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

"I have no idea in the world what this thread is about and no idea where it will go, but it's somehow captured my interest!"

Well I guess non of us do, a ship without a captain. Although it has one General. So, who knows where it will go, how fast it will go there or, in fact, if it will go anywhere!

I am looking forward to reading some posts from some of the quieter members, as well as us more vocal one.

I guess though this may take a little time to get going.

So I guess I better shut up and allow them a little space to post

I have just added a link to a BBCi programme, really worth a look if you have an hour to spare.

It has really shown me the strength of the Khmer people. I always respected them but this programme really re-enforces why we should.

Pop over to Newsworthy and take a look and then let us know here, what you think

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

It is PC. But its not PC for the k440 in crowed. So if you arent 1 of them and you say something that hurts feelings like the hibitual bitch that they are...they ban you.

Here you have a small minority who are emotional and have no rational thought. Go back to stroppys post of peace loving muslims...2 or 3 people started to cry as if they are secular muslims trying to live a decent life in Australia. Best part is they stopped bitching as soon as they saw whitey with no head.

Or my post on why I want to move to Mexico. It was fact and to the point and all the P.C sheeple came out. 4 legs good 2 legs baaaaaadddddd

Its still better then k440 but its hard to talk about certain topics that people arent aware of or know enough about...and differences between countries even though the majority of us speak English. Australians eat spreads and Vegemite....idfk what any of that shit is nor do I want to try it.

I don't read all that many threads. Is CEO that "bad"? I thought it was quite tame.

I lurk on several forums. It's not that they seem unfriendly, it's more that I only have a limited amount of time to post. The guests may think the same. In fact, I'm a regular guest on here when I read it on my tablet. I can't be bothered typing on tablets. I just browse on it. Maybe a lot of the guests and lurkers are on tablets or phones.

Personally I enjoyed the irony of that whole discussion proving the subject (that western nations are becoming so antiChristian they're becoming proIslam).

HI PR, the forum is not changing, it is just an experiment on a single thread. One single thread out of well over 1800. Nothing more nothing less.

Playboy - I have always had a great deal of respect for you in the real world. A very interesting and knowledgeable person but please reflect a little of that respect on this single thread. It is an experiment about on-line behaviour so please do not post (in fact if you you might like to edit out) those not very polite words included in your last post. Don't be the person who opens the flood gates a little maturity and a little respect please
