This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. pharmacies... lots of stuff without prescription for good prices...

drawback: new and specialized meds are not available. though, can be ordered possibly on the net without much interference at customs.

but ppl that need to be in medical care and/or may require emergency treatment, will pretty quickly end up at the pagoda, probably.

I have to agree with Jacket. Most Khmers are totally deluded as to what living in the west means and entails. I've helped a few go there, but I always warn them sternly that it's not all easy and that it'll be waaaaay harder than they imagine. Korea is probably similar, but it's more of a cash run than the west (where they usually go with more long-term settlement goals). It's more like working on an oil rig or something. Live in shacks with other fruit pickers, keep your head down and work. Not much fun, but decent money all things considered.
