Safe to buy a motorbike from khmer24... how does the process work of buying a used one?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Saw two nice ones in these ads.. price seems good.. are these prices too low to believe? Can these be scams? Anything i should look out for if i meet with these sellers and test drive? Thanks

Don't know about the second one but the first one is way off price wise. It also lists the bike as being black. No way you'd get a 2022 PCX like the one pictured unless something was wrong. It does say it only has a plate and not an ownership card. Could be the reason for the price reduction. Could be someone in Bangkok or Saigon still looking for that bike.

Usually the bike they advertise has already been sold. But they are happy to offer you alternatives - for alternative prices...
Offers like that are just a click bait
Driving on Cambodian roads is just like playing a classic arcade top scroller. The only difference is a force feedback controller, the limitation to only one life and the inability to restart, once Game Over

The first 1 says black but the pic is white, straight away a warning flag.

@Zyzz motorbike ownership is about as rewarding as Cambodian food. Sooner or later, you'll end up with health issues and perhaps even dead.

Good luck.
