Rob's New TEMPLAR BAR on Riverside Opening Soon!

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Cavern still has their kitchen up and running. Haven't heard any news about Templars though... Strange.

No dude, he sacked all hid kitchen staff, "closed the kitchen forever" ( his words), and it's now full hooker bar format and hours.

He announced this on the other site over the weekend. Said made no sense to persist with food oriented gaff on st104.

He literally said "closed forever."

He posted it on our Pchum Ben thread too:

That was your last supper at The Cavern, I'm afraid.

According to Robbie's FB page, his new venture is all about wines, cocktails, champagne and whisky. It list "bar snacks" for sale so unless his bar snacks include a full Sunday roast with all the trimmings, then I think not.

Just want Phnom Penh needed, another fucking pretentious bar full of wankers and tossy too rich to care Khmers.

COME ON ROBBIE DO WHAT YOU'RE GOOD AT, OPEN A REAL BAR WITH REAL FOOD.

Robbie is not dumb ass, apologies to dumb ass people who may feel alienated by this comment.

Everyone, who is anyone, over 12 stone already knows he is the Master of Munch, the Baron of Breakfast and of course the Lord of Lunch (Sunday) So he is promoting areas that appeal to a wider customer base and if, in a few weeks he throws up a sign that says that says 'Sunday Templar Treats' or 'Knights Breakfast' then we will all come running.

Robbie, never struck me as someone who wanted to screw his customers, on the contrary, he went out of his way to make sure that he and his team, not only met, but surpassed a customers expectations.

Great Service & 'Perfection on a Plate' and everything else speaks for itself.
