Riverhouse ?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Post by Duncan »

Riverhouse, corner of 110 street and riverside looks closed down . Anyone have news.

Also the Chinese [ 7/11 ? ] convenience shop next door has closed down, and is available for lease at $2000 per month. as told to me by the Khmer owners.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

They changed name and rebranded after it was sold a couple years ago. They’ve changed the color from red to blue, according to the bartender it’s because the German owner is a homosexual.

Additionally they’ve put a wall where there was previously a more private corner couch area. The upstairs has been removed too. I don’t know where all the space went, but Oskar has doubled in size. I guess that’s where.

And it’s no longer called Riverhouse. It is now called The Golden Flamingo Lounge & Bistro. I am not joking.

Someone told me that where Riverhouse is--- they are opening Duplex 2 .. anyone know?
After looking at another thread, they probably mistaken the location of Chinese House for Riverhouse most likely..

Duplex opened some new operation at Chinese House. Apparently it has very tasteful interior design.

Idiots.
I hate people that make these basic mistakes about birds, especially just to guild the lilly by painting them gold.
The Flamingo species that very occasionally pops up in Cambodia is the Greater Flamingo - not the Golden.

FFS - You don't need to jazz-up a f'ing pink flamingo if you are setting up a gay bar.

Golden Flamingo has been gone for weeks. Now renovating and apparently going to be Riverhouse again, according to the jobs sign.
