river level

This is a part of our Cambodia forums to chat about anything Cambodia-related. This discussion forum is at the top of our site because it's usually the busiest part of the expat community chatter with random topics on just about everything, including expat life, Khmer politics, Cambodian blogs we have or have come across, or whatever else our members want to discuss. Whether you're an expatriate, tourist, Cambodian or random traveler just passing through South East Asia, you are welcome to talk about anything or start new topics yourselves.

Exodus 14:21

You could become the new Moses....

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. :stir:

I think you have to be Chinese to do that trick.

Im not sure but reading up about it its effecting fisherpeople in a big way, likely to be a lot of people moving to PP looking for work. Also effecting all the other countries in the region. water seems to be going off at night in PP already. also a week or 2 ago the dictator apologized for up coming power cuts

Serious question JB...

When do you think the power cuts will begin. I think it was March this year, but according to HE on 7th November, cuts are likely by year end. Is that a reliable statement do you think? Or perhaps predict doom and gloom and take credit if they can keep the lights on until March?

The water level is at Phnom Penh. Although it is significantly lower than last year, is it relevant? Isn't the water level the other side of the Hydro Plants the key measure?

I think you are going to be out of luck there. the bottom is 10m below sea level, in PP anyway
