Reef Resort (Sihnoukville) hotel bookings being cancelled

Received this email today from booking.com, advising all bookings have been cancelled, including mine for Jan/Feb 2018. Anybody else having issues with bookings at this hotel ?

" The land that the property is on has been sold and the property is being repurposed. We apologise for the inconvenience. All future reservations have been cancelled accordingly. "

Chinese have leased it. It closed end of August.

It was in the Bits from the Beach in the Bayon Pearnik magazine.

They had previously tried to cancel my bookings twice before back in June & July, each time giving a ridiculous excuse, both of which I proved were incorrect, which is why I seeked confirmation of the most recent reason given
