Recommending a Gym in PP
Recommending a Gym in PP
Hi!
I just recently have found this community, so Im glad to make my 1st post here:)
I`m living sicne 2 years in camb and now finally in pp since bout 10 months...
At the moment Im working out at the Place.
Its a very well equipped gym, no questions bout that - but 2 things I strongy dislike:
1.) That they put the AC always very cold... its just not good for the immunsystem in general, when the difference regards to the temprature between indoor and outdoor is very high... and heavy resistance training in addition is also temporarily weakening the immunsystem a bit...
So thats not a good combo...
2.) Its not very long open - I would love a 24 hour Gym - is there even such an option in pp?
Maybe some of you can recommend some places:)
Regards,
Haxton

You might wanna take a look at the Himawari. I heard they fixed it up, it's about half the price of the Place, has a great pool, & a brewpub next door to replace your electrolytes. LINK: http://www.himawarihotel.com/en/fitness-one.html

Ah, thank you very much:)
I will check it out for sure - stille few months stuck more in the place due to me have been making a 1 year-contract, but afterwards I will have for sure a look.
Do you know if they also put their AC at max like the Place?
I also guess, that in pp there is no 24 hour gym, likely?
Any thoughts bout VIP-sportsclub?
I know that some staff from the pontoon are working out there and are kinda happy with it... + it has no AC, which is a plus for me if the alternative is an AC at max...
btw., totally offtopic:
Is there really no option to upload directly from your comp an avatar-pic?

I worked out there for maybe a month B4 I moved to Snook. I wasn't picky & the price was right. I don't need too many machines other than a bike, leg stuff, & cables. The pool was a big draw as I try to knock out 3 km/week. Outside bar, river views - ain't so bad.
