Make Kampot Great again

actually Jamie I didn't seek a serious investigation into slang; the query was meant as joke and prohockalypse responded with an even more humorous reply. I should have known I'd never pull it off!Jamie_Lambo wrote: ↑Thu Mar 15, 2018 1:52 pmnot really, because the context is different, your using "Pulled off" in the achievement sense, where as the OP is using it in the physical sensetaabarang wrote: ↑Thu Mar 15, 2018 7:25 amSo, if I say in American English, "He pulled off a bank job," you would understand that to mean that he made a lot of money giving someone a handjob?Jamie_Lambo wrote: ↑Thu Mar 15, 2018 1:16 am i wish this thread was called something different...

the OP title you only have to move the word "by" from "Pulled off our moto by bag snatcher in Kep" to "Pulled off by our moto bag snatcher in Kep" for it to completely change the meaning

The mouse showed his true colours pretty quickly. Those digital nomads are obviously far superior to everyone else as they ride around on motos with a shoulder bag.
If he doesn’t like the forum he should fuck off and mingle with people of his own kind.
Black humour is common amongst expats. There is a reason for it.

Maybe you’re onto something.

I slightly regret joining this forum, it seems to be largely frequented by the type of ex-pats who are only here because they are too ugly to get laid back home, and too useless to make any real money. After a few years in "paradise" they start to realise that paying for sex with people who find you repulsive while drinking yourself to death does not make for such a joyous life, so they become bitter as fuck. I see the pitiful bastards waddling around everywhere spouting their resentful nonsense to any poor fucker who has the misfortune to be in their vicinity. Hopefully the Chinese will price them out and the visa rules will tighten up so it will just be flash-packing digital nomads such as myself drinking lattes and being massively smug on account of having "escaped" the rat race. Times are changing.

I would never ride with a bag with exposed shoulder strap. Girls I know put the bag in front of them and then put a shirt over the top to cover the strap. If small enough they usually put under the seat.dk_mrniceguy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 9:00 pm wow, how do you guys protect yourselves against this kind?
I keep phones money and other relevant items in trouser pockets:
And sometimes place everything valuable under the seat:
Use a top box to store everything else:

Jamie, I will never be concerned about you until I have it in good faith that you have become a flash packing digital nomad who drinks lattes with people like OP and other dreary assorted ilk who have wearied of the rat race.
