Province or city for month of May?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I have to admit, I'm guilty of that. But every time I speak English to my Khmer family and friends, they are benefiting by learning English. I think of it like this, if I learn Khmer, it will be of no use to me in ten years time when I'm dead and gone, but every bit of English my family learn, it will help them get jobs and be of use to them for maybe the next fifty years . ok
He doesnt drink or get involved in the P4P scene
does all nighters in KTVs
one of the big factors of choosing a hotel is if they accept guests*
*for when he wants to take a "normal" girl back that he picked up at the "Library"
is scared of his family finding out that he might be invovled in the P4P scene
Knows some khmer but not a lot, likely learned "oun saart nas" for when hes hanging around the "University"
wants to find "a good girl and just have fun with only her" in the space of a month

if finding a girl here is as important to you as it appears to be, you should spend more time learning about the khmer culture and khmer women, im sure plenty of posters here will be willing to help educate as as some posters have pointed out, you come across as slightly naive about your knowledge and expectations of what cambodia is like

but in the case of if you are genuine with everything you are saying, it is possible to meet girls here and have a free ride, i do, but im only 28 and in my fourth year here, i can see you are going to be looking in all the wrong places, finding a girl for the month can be quick and easy here, but not in the places you want to be seen in, finding a normal girl requires groundwork and not enough for your timescale, if you dont like the bars and dont drink, badoo.com has plenty of gray girls, ex bargirls, secret bargirls, that you can hook up with, it also has the occasional normal/curious girls, but they again will require some groundwork and the chances of you intimately hooking up within the month will be slim to none, and she may even bring a chaperone on dates

there are numerous threads on both forums about khmer women, id advise you give a good read, vital information about good/bad/gray girls

I went to the BBU library in SR once. It has like 6 books in it; I have a larger library in my apartment than they do. I am sure that they must all be using Kindles etc. because it would be impossible for a university to operate on a minimal number of texts right? Oh, wait. This is Cambodia...

Students and researchers go to libraries. There is a National Library on Christopher Howes Street, and the HE Library at the RUPP is open to the public, as is the Senate Library on Norodom.
