Here's lunch at a different place this time. Was ok but this place I normally go to is only open at night. So, I'll have to go there tonight.
The coin laundry takes their own coins. You put in a dollar and you receive a coin. Three coins for a wash which includes detergent and one coin for a period of 10 min. in the dryer.
But there's this other I have been reading about called Modern Laundry in which they wash, dry, AND iron for about $5 a kilo, that sounds ok to me.

yes, but how many private issue coins you pay for a pineapple?
I find it quite amazing that Khmer would allow you to use their machines by self even with the intervention of a token system.
i must live a sheltered existence

$5/kilo!!!
even $2 is overpriced
here in expensive phuket its 40 -50 baht/kilo wash/dry/ironed
they have coin operated places everywhere here now, cost ya like 50 baht for 7 kilos, wash only, u supply the powder
PLEASE no more food photos,
we ALL know what the food looks like

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Just give your laundry to the guesthouse and it should be washed, dried and ironed for $1 a kilo. You seem a little obsessed with laundry btw; that's really one thing that you shouldn't have to think about in Cambodia.Khmer_mutt wrote:Well they have wash only no dry for 2000 riel a kilo as well. Now, more importantly...what is going on under the table at the top (or the bottom) of this photo ?

I asked at the front desk and they charge per item not by the load. More expensive than doing it outside actually. But I did just find a Modern Laundry right next door to me almost. 4 kilos for 8000 riel and 5 kilos for 9000. I think this is more what you were referring to. I'll drop by in the morning.
About the funny business in the pic, the girl on the left has a cute face with a tub. The left one was her gf, I think.
