Bullseye, that's what I remember too. Thanks.Cruisemonkey wrote: ↑Thu Dec 28, 2017 10:50 am There are a million 'dusty bars in the middle of nowhere' in Cambodia... they're 'side of the road' stores/restaurants (just look for the red coolers). There's usually at least one in each village/hamlet that has a pool table.

Sounds pretty boring driving around aimlessly. There is bugger all to see off the beaten track, there's bugger to see on the beaten track. Unless one is a real history hound I can't think of anywhere between Siem Riep and Phnom Penh that is worth seeing.

Probably true, if you stick to the highway....willyhilly wrote:Sounds pretty boring driving around aimlessly. Off-road motor biking in the dry season might be more rewarding, if tougher than sitting on a moving couch all day, haha.
Melvin Udall: Never, never, interrupt me, okay?
Not if there's a fire, not even if you hear the sound of a thud from my home and one week later there's a smell coming from there that can only be a decaying human body and you have to hold a hanky to your face because the stench is so thick that you think you're going to faint.
Even then, don't come knocking...Not for ANY reason.
