Potato news

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

How long's a piece of string?
Khmer market price 1800 - 2500r depending on whether first or second quality.
Barang market price anywhere from 3000 - 6000r. Normally 5000r.
Lucky SM price atm 6500r/ $1.60.
Thai Hout atm 7300r/ $1.80.
Bayon atm 20,000r/ $5. I think they're normally around the $3 mark.

The clever boratey have a potato lady - someone who cleans the house and buys the spuds.
Ah, sorry, I completely missed your sarcasm! I to fuck all grocery shopping, so no idea what the price was, but $5 sounded like more than I'd guess.

I don't cook. A co-worker saw me microwave an egg for lunch last week, and told me in his 50+ years on this planet, he'd never seen anyone microwave an egg to cook it, LoL. That's the kind of stuff I do to avoid cooking.
They explode if you microwave them. At least if you leave them in the shell.
EDIT - I see someone has pointed that out already.
