Cambodia is the Kingdom of Wonder. It’s not a western country at all. It follows it’s own drumbeat. Khmer do things their way. In some ways, it’s refreshing, in other ways, insanely maddening. I just make observations on how things are as the former Eternal Traveller.

But they don’t care about how I think or how other foreigners think for that matter.

I can’t believe I have to defend myself on this forum as a perceived Kingdom of Wonder hater.

C’mon geez, I married Khmer. Do I have to become a Khmer citizen in order to not be viewed as ‘hating Cambodia’ in the eyes of some members of CEO?

Being a food lover I must say I dislike food in Phnom Penh especially Cambodian food so I end up with western food. This is a personal comment and preference and for me it’s a negative about Cambodia for me however I have choices like western food and Indian food. Hope my posts at the Thailand thread is not causing trouble.

It is very wrong to keep mentioning Harrys & their terrific value. Food looks great with all the classics that I miss but its wrong to bring it up here.

Agreed, the fantastic fish and chips at Harry's and their other specials, though worth noting, perhaps could use less screen time in this forum.

Harry's is not the point. I like Harry's as well but I wouldn't go so far as "great food". The point is that poster constantly throws out his personal advert for that particular restaurant as if he is their marketing manager (others have made the same comment previously). If he is, then he should be placing a paid advertisement on CEO. As Azure does. Why does Azure have to pay? Can I take Larry's daily menu off of Facebook and post it on CEO for free? Or Metro?

Haha, the amazing food at Harry's has been mentioned a lot, but I thought it was clearly a bit tongue in cheek, especially mentioned on this topic, and I don't get why anyone is uber irritated by it. Makes me hungry every time I read about food around town on here.

Advertisers pay for ad banners, which is totally different than mentioning places in topics. If Harry's wanted an ad, that would be great for them and us, but I don't have any issue with things of interest to everyone in Cambodia being mentioned on here. And to answer your question, YES, I'd love to see you put up Larry's menu as well, so go for it if you want. I'm a fan of them both and truly hope they attract some more patrons after being brought up on here. Harry's. Larry's. Now all we need is a place called Barry's in the mix.
