possible benefits of pandemic

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Re: possible benefits of pandemic

well this thread has been an eye opener. I hadn't realised there were. people in the world who thought that positives and negatives cannot exist at the same time from the same event. What a bleak outlook on life.

Seeing positives does not mean the negatives don't exist.

Has anyone said that some people will be saving money - those that work and usually spend regularly on knick knacks, clothes, gadgets, etc etc and on coffees and lunches etc - none of that happening now means they'll have more money to spend later. See - this comment doesn't exclude those that have had a shit of a time and lost their jobs in the blink of an eye. That shit is acknowledged elsewhere - we all know that's shit, but there is a positive in the situation for some. It doesn't have to be a positive for all in order to be positive.
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.
