Pls help me to find a guest house in PP

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Perhaps because in other countries they don't steal the money to buy the cars??? Because in other countries they actually got the brains to EARN money ???

What makes you think that ? Where did I mention that I'm looking for cheap accommodation ? Maybe, maybe I implied that I wish to stay away from ignorants like you, but that's all.

I think we need to add Grinch's nationality to the rapidly-growing list of people you don't get on with.

I hear North Koreans are lovely people, btw.
Jesus loves you...Mexico is great, right? ;)

I hear they don't attack people for refusing beans which is quite a nice trait.

The moment you said:

Guesthouse are, by their nature, cheap.
Any place charging more that 25 bucks a night here won't be calling themselves a guesthouse.

Did you find anything?

Agoda and booking . com both have map functions where you can filter out the area you don't want. On the outskirts of pp you'll find there's few, if any run, by foreign folk.

I'm afraid that's correct. Haven't found anything yet.

The Grinch's nationality is already on the list. Though I have yet to meet a fellow countryman who would attack someone for refusing beans.

OP, you are deranged. Guest houses make money and yes, sometimes their owners buy cars with that money. This does not make them exploitative okhna but rather middle class working people.

As for cheap, the words "guest house" are enough. You'll be staying far away from me guaranteed. I haven't stayed in guest house since I was about 6... I'm more about 4 and 5 star hotels nowadays. I've found those to be generally pleasant places to stay no matter what nationality owns them...

Then it's about time. Shall I give you the name and location of your fellow countryman ? Be warned - don't expect the same service as in your 5 star hotels. It's more like a bean devouring English peasant from Liverpool that hardly can speak.

I don't include scousers as "fellow countrymen". If I was offered, by a nuclear power, the chance to drop two nuclear weapons anywhere in the world - I would use them both on Liverpool to make certain that they did the job properly.

Cue whining scouser explaining how Liverpool is just misunderstood rather than the crime capital of the UK and the international first prize winner of moaning about being hard done by.
