Englishman CHARLIE MCLAUGHLIN Fights for His Life in Calmette Hospital; Family in Macclesfield Try to Save Him

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. 38 years old, falls down an has a stroke?
I had a stroke at 41 due to a spontaneous failure of an artery lining. There was no trauma or external cause - it just plain collapsed. no surgery etc required it healed itself. I was in the UK when this occurred. Apparently used to be very hard even of Neurologist to diagnose MRI scanning normally required.

Best of luck to this chap and his family.
saw on facebook couple weeks ago that my friends old flat mate, she recently had a spontaneous stroke, shes is now paralysed down half her body, shes only 29
I got off fairly lucky my after effects not usually noticeable generally but was sent by Physio to gym for 5 months just to get normal (weakling) strength back down my left side ... I only added my 2pence worth as some people are ignorant of the fact strokes can happen for no fault of the person and maybe family etc are reading this,,,,sorry about your friend

He obviously doesn't have a phone that uses fingerprint to unlock... Or he does and his phone ran out of juice. (normally after a reboot you need a pincode before you can use your fingerprint to unlock)

They've raised over £40,000 now, and the family is still blaming his 'death' on the British government:

The western world sees refugees and immigrants more important than there own.
