Phnom Penh Air Quality

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

He said it on Facebook.

Missus was complaining about how out of touch government officials are.

Probably deleted by now and never to be repeated (just like everything else controversial).

Linking articles inside FB is not the issue, linking to FB posts is what Kammekor meant.

This is also possible. I’m sure @Kammekor is being sarcastic.

Posts that do not show Cambodian authorities in a positive light are taken down.

If it’s really negative, the posters are found and arrested.

So, yeah. Please only believe official government reports for the truth of what happens in Cambodia.
I don't see the information YOU get and disseminate about the "truth of what happens in Cambodia" as more reliable than that.

To me, your process looks like this:

A poorly educated local who doesn't even live there collects "the news" for you from dubious social media sources and personal acquaintances. She adds her biases. Some information is lost in translation, or distorted. You add your biases and make it fit into your infantile view of the world, often with a sledgehammer. The fruits of that effort we then get to read here. :voilent1:

You'd be better off limiting yourself to spreading Taiwanese propaganda.

The Cambodian authorities have zero control over what gets posted on Facebook. They can't take down posts. All they can do is try to find the poster if they are in Cambodia and persuade them to remove the post. You seem to have a very low understanding of technology, but have no problem with posting unfounded gossip.

Yes, but not just the government, for 50% more than the normal okhna fee you can get it too.
They call it Okhna gold. Also gets you 15% off in Dairy Queen.
