Do you know anyone in the jewelry trade that would like some genuine NZ Paua shell

Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

Not sure if you are educating readers in general. If directed at me, I’m aware - and the OP said NZ Paua

In the good old days they were used as ash trays by everyone, well everyone that smoked.
They become over fished when price went up, and exported to guess where.

Yeah, they'd make good ashtrays. How much Toots? Five bucks?

Re: Paua Shell
Such a nice shell being an ashtray is weird. Would probably go well with a deer head on the wall, ivory sticks for eating, and a toilet seat made of turtle shells.
Even if plenty still available on livestock, meh.
What about softening them with vinegar, press them to be flat, use them in a more beautiful way ? (book cover, furniture cover, something stylish instead of vulgar ?)
