Pain

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

The Harare Snake Park had 3 specimens over 10' in 1972. I know, because I watched them measure them.

Can't compare immediate pain to you guys, but my torn Achilles hurt every day for 15 years. Both my knees have been done as well. They hurt for 2.

i did break my finger hitting a metal post, snapped it clean in half, didnt hurt though because i was highly intoxicated, and when i got to the hospital they put me on so many painkillers and morphine i was floating around A + E, i was in hospital a few days having operations and pins put in my finger, i do remember slipping on some ice and slamming my hand onto the ground when it was still in its cast, that fucker hurt more than breaking it lol

Cut my hand open on razor wire trying to take a short cut home through the railway yards late one night, the cut wasn't the problem, the anesthetic injections were, in between the fingers right to the centre of the palm where the cut was.

I only have 3 knuckles in their correct place now. my one wish if I win the Lotto is to have corrective hand surgery for telescoped metatarsal and other damage (in a country where the surgeon doesn't use a monkey-wrench)

As a kid, I was snorkelling in Mauritius, and I thought I saw a large stone move, so I stood on it. The crab ripped my big toe open down to the base of my toenail, plus salt water...could have been worse, could have been a stonefish, I suppose.

Also as a kid my brother and I were stealing prickly pears, and we saw the farmer coming, so I stuffed them down my shirt, DUH.

Weeks before I left school we went camping in the Matopos hills, all trying to be heroes, smoking a cigarette, housemaster sneaked up on us, I dumped the burning cigarette down the back of my shorts. Didn't get caught/caned, but I would have preferred it, I think.
