Otres being ruined by Chinese

If the rumours are true about it becoming a new city with a huge population then the village in its current form is toast.
They sold all the land in front of the public beach at Otres. Again. The bit where everyone on the beach chucks their rubbish.
And...what?
I imagine condos and a casino.
