Ordering original bike parts
Hi, I need to order a part for a Japanese motorcycle
I vaguely remember somebody mentioning a Japanese site..my Japanese is a bit rusty, but I could order it if I have the part number
Thanks in advance, illustrious fellow-posters

Re: Ordering original bike parts
Kind of off topic, but related to subject at hand.
On my first trip to Cambodia our host told us stories of taking motos in for repair.... she said if you took a new name brand (japanese) moto in to be fixed for something they would often strip all the good original parts and replace with cheap aftermarket parts (selling the good stuff for $$$$ later).
Has anyone heard of this or had it happen to them...

Re: Ordering original bike parts
That Japanese site is called WeBike. It is very difficult to order from them and shipping is expensive also because of Japan's copy write laws they can not show you any manuals. They will sell you a manual , the one for my scooter was like $50., so if you don't have all the proper info they can't help by giving you any info.
I use these guy http://shop.discounthondaparts.com/ the biggest problem with ordering is that most online dealers use a second party shipping company ,expensive, for international shipping or won't ship to KOW. The site i use ships direct but has a $50 minimum shipping fee but adding more items then the shipping is reasonable.

Re: Ordering original bike parts
That only happens when your bike is held at the police station. Normally when minor repairs are made you wait at the shop.Kampuchia Crumbs wrote: ↑Thu Jun 28, 2018 7:43 am Kind of off topic, but related to subject at hand.
