Opium Dens ??? {Warning- long loading time}

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

But I've read/own all the books shown in this thread and I'm a collector. Opium antiques drew me to SEA to antique hunt, unsuccessfully I might add. Oddly enough China is buying them heavily currently.

Does anyone know where I may find some antiques or
paraphernalia here in PP?

Yes so far I've only found repro's. I don't think THAT late lol, but I'm certainly late for Cambodia. I am 100% certain there are some antiques here squirreled away or forgotten about somewhere though.
I have some super nice pieces from old USA dens and other countries

From what understand N. Thailand is still a good place to find goodies.

Ebay have had certain phone search alerts active on my phone for years.

Opium is still globally consumed and by a decent amount of Americans but it is certainly hush hush. there are online sites we congregate to.

The hill tribes in Thailand don't bother with that old stuff. Just a bottle and some hot needle to poke it with.....
