One Year of CEO!

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Almost a year ago today I logged into the Dark Side. I was immediately attacked about mud. :beer3: There was a thread on there that was titled CEO. I thought another boring business thread so I didn't read it. About three months in I came across it and read about what had happened just before I joined. Of course I popped over here to see what was going on. I even joined up with this user name.
But I was enraptured with this new Inet forum thing and didn't have the time for more that one then. As the year went on I found easier ways to read posts and respond. The Active Topics link being the point at which I started over posting and realizing how addicted I had become. I also started noticing how posters I had once thought were cool started saying things I totally didn't agree with. Hey Ho I thought. However, the longer I stayed the more I saw of the K440 personality. Pro business. Anti reality when it came to pricing and prices. Interesting History ( got most of the links now - thanks Lucan/ JM) and interesting Political debates. I'm sure that is the heart of K440 that will always make it a survivor(for now). The business shit is just that. It has no place on a forum like K440. Ad Sense and a face full of knuckles just don't go well together. Anyhow they banned me for being obnoxious to them, well done. Taught me a lesson, never trust an admin.
CEO is actually very interesting from what I have seen so far. I love that we seem to have 2 Khmers on here. I also love some of the posters I don't know. I like their writing a lot better than some of the Dark Side writers. I also like their viewpoints on the whole.
If anybody deserves flaming for crashing in here like I did, I guess I do. Thanks for not doing that.

That's enough. Happy new year and many more to come.

I found this in that CEO thread:

Hey @little salary we seem to have gained a lot of appreciation as local poster here. :)

Feel free to say anything about Cambodia. Don't be hesitate to say anything or criticize about Cambodia, because we are here . We will try to correct if you guys say any thing different to the reality.

Yep, your right there Samouth, but we are still waiting for a '' Life's a bore '' thread by little salary.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
