$11 one way, PP to SR, Bassaka Air

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Yeah, it's just like with:
- Cambodian "doctors"
- Cambodia "dentists"
-Cambodian "lawyers"
Cambodian "architects"
Cambodian "technicians"..................................................~~~~~~~

No, I don't trust them

At least it's not commie metal that the other guys are flying. I would much rather get on a DC3 that hasn't seen a mechanic since WW II ! Even with the shit maintainance and pilots, your chances of getting killed on that road have to be higher by a factor of ten.

Ok. This stereotype has gone so far. Why can't you believe that there are bad and good people everywhere even where you are from. Okay foreign pilot, like the one who intentionally crashed the mountain and killed hundred of people and left their relatives in shock?

You do understand that there are way more road accidents than Cambodian planes going down, right? You do understand that not a single civil plane has crashed in Cambodia in modern times?

There are good doctors, dentists, technicians, and some good architects. (Lawyers suck, all around the world.) Just like anywhere else, there are some bad. Now, back to pilots. They are trained in the west. They won't be passed unless they are competent. I have no problem flying with Cambodia Angkor Air. In fact, I noted their in-cabin safety checks are detailed and carried out every time I have flown. Unlike THAI. Horseshit on your hyperbole.

OK. One plane has gone down in modern times in Cambodia. What about the bus crashes, around the million?
