One Single Thing

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Of course huge parks are the breathing lungs that make any capital city enjoyable.

Central Park , N.Y., Hyde Park and numerous others in London. Green capital cities all over Europe. Beautiful!

Nothing now in Cambodia. A wasteland. The government here would sell fresh air to their own people if they could.

Sihanoukville:

1) The police enforcing traffic laws.
2) Taco Time.
3) All containers that come into the port and the beer (swill) brewed on the hill will be transported to PP by railroad.
4) The Fire Department will get a decent budget and not be put into someone's pocket so that they can actually have equipment to put out fires and the firemen don't have to have a second job to survive. (no charging people to fight fires.) (The port fire dept. will have mutual response/help the city fire dept.)
5) Last , but not least, Sihanoukville will get a decent hospital with actual trained doctors.

This has also been one of my longtime dreams.

What do u call all of Riverside?
Wat Phanom ( ok not as big as Central park or Golden gate park but......)
15 minutes South -East of PP ur in the country

Compared to back in the early 2000 the country has improved alot for most people.

I think we can all agree the city has improved in many ways, but lack of greenery is certainly a problem. The only places with a bit of green are remnants of the French urban planning days. Watch Phnom is tiny, but just imagine if each Kahn has a similar park with big old trees and all. It would be great (and reduce congestion near the Riverside on Sundays...).

A Bus, TUK TUK and Moto only section ( larger by toll) of The Riverside, to promote larger vehicles. Make Norodom Blvd and Monivong Blvd opposing one way circuit

Toll revenue pays for community little picking.

Crazy problems , need crazy solutions
