One man in history
Re: One man in history
Cleopatra and hatschepsut (Egyptian rulers, once).
but jack the ripper isn't bad either, but would class him as hitler. boring.
their crimes are far more worse, then they are interesting. perhaps so, if a person is just pervert.

Re: One man in history
Benjamin Franklin. I've always admired him. I've always thought of him as a genius.
Or maybe whoever was in charge of building the pyramids.
Maybe Aristotle. Although I'd probably walk away thinking, "that poor, rambling homeless man."
Even Einstein would only tell me shit we know about and I still hardly understand.
If it was just for a beer, I'd like to meet Edgar Allan Poe, Mark Twain and Shakespeare. Just to actually meet them in the flesh.

Re: One man in history
I think a lot of people mentions have become gilded by history or in the case of some, just a little beyond my understanding. So, I have narrowed it down to one of the following:
Dale Carnegie - The ability to influence
Lee Harvey Oswald - Just the one question but been playing on my mind
Freddie Mercury - Such a different person on and off stage
Charles Darwin - Just so I can tell him all about our (CEO's) very own '????', so Charles can finally rest in peace, the final piece of his work in place (Only joking)
Samuel Johnson - Just so I can name drop with the TEFLers
Thomas Henry Huxley - Free Sunday Roast (Best in town) for life, by tipping him off about ????, so he can have one over on Charles
Not quite sure how to narrow it down, any clues?
