Oncology

Please feel free to move to asinine

In a it of a panic. it of history repeating itslef here !

I've been unwell for a few months. in the summer the doctor told me (over the phone) that it was probably related to my stomach and was silent reflux.

i've had problems off and on since.

3 days ago i woke up with terrible stomach ache. have had a stomach ache for 3 days and today I lost a lot of blood from my ass twice. the whole toilet was dark red the same colour as my blood even with all the water in the bowl.

i put my symptoms into a search engine a couple of hours ago and it said go straight to an emergency department.

went to the hospital down the road and they gave me blood tests ans xrays and got the results back in an hour. did it all for free.

the ddoctor told me i have to see a gastroentorologist tomorrow privately and get an oncology done. he said i have to go tomorrow. says you have to take drugs for 24 hours before you have the exam.

i don't know whether to fly home tomorrow and go to A and E or go to a gastro guy on the island here. I'm in Kos in Greece.

Glad I've got a chance to apologise and try to clean this up a bit at least.

I'm very tired, and I need to get a bit of sleep. It's past 5 here and really I should have other prioritites.

I want to apologise to the general in particular and also to the other mods. I know eyeborws were raised about my posting, and it seems I was given a bit of slack and then I come up with this shitshow haha. My stomach hurts and I'm worried but....sorry....I've just been back down the hospital. Doctor was with another patient but the nurse spoke to me. I said did the doctor say he thinks it's c and she said no, look we don't know you have to see a specialist. so it could well be other things.

i'd just googled oncologist earlier which was why my head was just in complete panic.

i'll try to see a gastro guy heere in the morning and then likely get a flight back in the evening and get to a and e.

things will turn round no doubt. tbh as i was walking bac i went past the castle and thought about going for a look round tomorrow before i fly haha.

look i;m really sorry for this. :(

turning in for the night. L8rs.

Just popped back (no pun intended) with what fuck fuck fuck fuck looks like some good news.

This is one of the blood counts that's way off:

"Low MPV meaning
A low MPV means your platelets are smaller than average. Smaller platelets tend to be older, so a low MPV could mean your bone marrow isn’t producing enough new ones. Again, a low MPV on its own doesn’t mean anything.

Depending on your other CBC results, a low MPV could indicate:

inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis
cytotoxic medications, which are used in chemotherapy
aplastic anemia"

HIGH MPV is a marker for cancer, not low. That's based on 1 article I'e read.

The other one is low RDWsd. Again the 1 page I scanned on that doesn't mention cancer.

Hopefully it's some kind of bowel issue I can just get some drugs for. The doctor panicked me by saying I must get an oncology scan done tomorrow, but based on that that outcome looks to me unlikely.

Anyway, whether I still have a log in here tomorrow or not I just thought I'd clear that up.

Apologise agian to all the decent folks here. Cheers.

If you don't ban me I'll be back posting shit about girls later probably haha. oh my god i am so glad i read that.

goodnight all wherever you are. :thumb:
