Observing young barang on St 172

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Actually what is annoying that if you book for 4 people, you get charged USD 4 for the same transaction. It is not the amount, but it leaves a slight feeling of getting done.

I want to know what you're doing in tour shops when young people buy plane/bus tickers or why you're creeping around when they pay for their tuk tuk.

I believe girls walk behind guys as a security measure against getting hit by a bus which is a very alpha smart and dominant move.

And travelers overpay for tuk tuks because they would rather see the poor local people live well instead of lining the pockets of Silicon Valley moguls.

I hope that's answered your op.

the simple answer a lot of the time, is laziness mixed with efficientcy
if you book online, you then need to go find somewhere to print out your tickets etc etc
for the sake of a dollar, you can just have someone else do it for you, and you often get free hotel pickup, which you wouldnt get if you booked online
again for the sake of paying an extra dollar why wait around for a taxi when you can just jump straight into a tuk tuk

the place where you get ripped off the most is if you book direct through your hotels, ive seen them charging extra $3-4 on bus tickets

everything is very easy to do yourself though, do a bit of research online to weigh up your options then go buy what ever ticket to whatever destination you need to go
i think a lot of people use the tour agencies because they are clueless and its just easier to let someone else do everything
