North to South Lexus Catches Fire in Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On August 30, 2018, at 1:30 am, a Lexus RX300 caught fire for no apparent reason on street 271, near Steung Meanchey bridge, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh.

Before the incident, a man was driving his Lexus car plate no. PP 2J-3337 in the direction from north to south, when suddenly, there was smoke, and then fire coming from the front of the car. A bank security guard grabbed an extinguisher and put out the fire. There was nobody injured.

The police went to the scene to check the accident, and let the car owner take the car away to get repaired.

I can see the problem from here. He should have got a number plate with three 8's in it instead of three 3's.

Apart from the number plate debacle the engine is all white and bits look melted.
