North Bright American School (NAS) Might be the Sketchiest School in Cambodia [Warning To Female Teachers]

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Totally agree. But that means that you are not up on some high moral ground from where you can dispense wisdom to those below.

And can't help laughing at the idea that
the standards for decency in people in Phnom Penh are becoming increasingly higher and higher
C'mon, that''s funny. :plus1:

You are all whining that I'm being too mean? Seriously? I thought I made it pretty clear that I don't have much of a filter when I feel something is bs, but if I really hurt your feelings Jamie, I am sorry. I'm mainly very tired of the fact that you fail to see the point of my discussing my old issues with using forums, Reddit being the only one, and you are so hung up on the fact that you feel I was bragging about it when quite frankly I'm more ashamed that I used to waste so much time on a website like that. The point of my saying that I made the front page twice that I had assumed was insinuated but apparently not as you are still hung up on it, is that I felt like "ok.. I did that. I thought it would make me feel accomplished and it didn't. Why am I still doing this? It's not productive or rewarding." So I STOPPED. That is the only point. That I was once like this, on a website daily talking to strangers and posting my opinions or commentary and thought it would be rewarding but found it boring and not rewarding even after "doing well in the game" if you want to call it that is why I found it semi-important to include the 2 times thing. That's it.

Also, it's really not like I would ever try to include information here to impress a bunch of online strangers. If you ask a question, I answer honestly. I asked a question and was bombarded with Jamie's bizarre series of rants, if you want to discuss personal attacks and rants. Again - holier than thou attitude - who am I here to impress? I was attempting to joke but my brand of sarcastic comedy is clearly not for this crowd. Also it is such a minimal detail of the post but I fail to see why you feel the need to keep on about it J. The evangelical christian thing was dropped because I was raised like that (atheist now) and know well how they argue, much like you do. Very cyclic, they do not hear your answer and keep driving and repeating their agenda even once it has been answered and the topic has been cleared. The "bastard because you must be an alcoholic" due to your self-admittance of having been nursing several hangovers lately was supposed to read as sarcastic, but I can see having taken the advice to re-read it that that was not made as clear as it could have been.

I have a past of vices sure. Humans do, but I feel personal evolution rather than drinking yourself to an early grave or whatever your thing was or is is something that people should work on, not take pride in. Much of Cambodia barang gentlemen I meet don't seem to agree. So that's fine, their life. Yet if you honestly don't agree that "those types" are moving out of PP and into Snooky, maybe take break from these online sites and go take a public survey. I'm now 30 and am trying to get pregnant so no, if anything I'm angry and bitter about having to take 5 vitamins a day and being quite sleep deprived. Yes, this place is strange. Cambodia has made me rather jaded, but not angry - that's just my personality and always has been. I say how I feel. I find the way you talk to each other interesting, you bash each other quite often yet I come on way too strong somehow. Fruitcake is fine, but bastard is crossing the line. Live and learn. Regardless I'm out, it's been fun.

@ Anon: I'd say that you gave out TMI (too much info) already. We don't know you, but you've given us some very personal stuff. (You can edit your posts if u want since I haven't copied much here.)
You also have some very set ideas about Sihanoukville expats, but that's ok. Did you spend a lot of time there studying the flora and the fauna ?
You're welcome on the forum. We don't mind if you are strange. (But seriously, funny is better. :beer2: )

^ Cat applies for job. Job likes the idea of a young, white native female, as they can use her to bring in lots of cash which they can purloin for KTV and petrol etc. Female doesn't like the way school managers act towards her, so says no thanks. School managers will not be put-off and continue to harass the female as now they see a lot of young pussy slipping through their oily fingers. (this I can confirm in part as I will never phone a Khmer for an apartment anymore unless I have to; Learnt through flat hunting years ago. They just won't leave you alone because of the cash they immediately see coming their way, even before you have viewed the property.)
Girl gets well pissed off at their totally unreasonable behavior and gives them a mouth full. The fun begins. She posts on FB. A mate of hers requests permission to post it here. We get to see once again that there's more to a story than meets the eye.
= School managers: same old , same old bullshit. + All Cambodian Expats have issues. :hattip:

Concluding Comment
It's a shame she posted so much on here, as just about all school managers out here need a good public roasting. Her posts have diffused that roasting which I feel a bit pissed off about, as they really do need a good day or 2 on the trending spit. Squeal little piggy, squeal!
