You should have been on the Gold Coast in Australia in the 70's,80's, 90's, 20's, and right now. Same same except you were paying top dollar Don't like it? Fuk off somewhere else then. Your choice.

I was, and still am. I think it takes them two or three years of talking about a high rise , another three getting building permits and another three to build it.
How is that stupid seaway cruse ship terminal going ? Oh,,, and the bridge that will go over to it. Where are the Chinese when you need them.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

LOL, worked there in construction on and off during the 80's, 900's and early 2000's. Don't envy any of the residents or tourists who were there! However, we were paid to do a job and do it we did. Usually with the councils blessings!Duncan wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 8:15 pm

As for the Cruise ship terminal on the spit. I heard something about it when I was back last week. Seems like it still isn't going to happen.

Re: Noise cotrol
The knob down the street who allowed his big dogs to attack our little dog (once, he won't be doing it again) has an interesting habit.
He puts his dogs out to free-range toilet, and then recalls them by standing in the middle of the lane and clapping as loudly as he can. This occurs around six or eight times a day, with the first performance at around 5am and the last act around 11am.
I think his payoff is two-fold - one, it reminds all of his neighbours that he has very big, very aggressive dogs, and two, he gets to be a knob from early in the morning to late at night.
I don't know what he's afraid of, but he must be constantly scared crapless given the performance. It's like a small bantam rooster that's constantly threatening everything in sight.

You should get everyone together and when he claps you all clap. See what the dogs do then.

We've tried to clap supportingly with him, but he doesn't seem to appreciate it. He possibly feels we're ridiculing him.
