New words well suited to forum posters...

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

New words well suited to forum posters...

Post by StroppyChops »

Vlad recently posted the Washington Post's annual neologism contest winning entries to Facebook and it reminded me of a competition they used to run changing an existing word by adding or removing a single letter to give a new meaning. These were often brilliant and it's a shame the competition is not run more regularly. I went looking for an old example and was immediately reminded of several ignoranuses on the forum who exist under a cloud of Bozone as they suffer from osteopornosis, while foreplaying like old hack golfers bragging of their glibidos, etc. etc.

Cant see why you would want to change your logo from The Missionary Man to The ignoranus man,,, or have I got it wrong again .
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Ha! While a couple of past prominent posters would claim Ignoranus Man to be more accurate, no, I'm happy with the existing moniker.

Speaking of which, is Dagenham still around/alive?

That's ironic, given you were okay about receiving faith-free charity when you needed it.

FYI i never publicly asked for it.

Here is a question though sound silly but for curiosity. Moving to a country where in this part of the world where people been practicing buddism over a thousand year became part their way of life and tradition before Jesus or the Virgin mary is born. Are they going to be cursed to hell because they werent baptised?

If you're going to attack me on the forum, don't then edit or delete your attacks. Here's the part you deleted.
the duck wrote: Tue May 23, 2017 1:57 pmAny evidence of your pastors flying down from the newly found 400 year-old country staying in luxury crib and going on the lovely Bumblebee ride during the day giving their Pope magic prayer makes any impact? Or should the blind faithful suckers stick what they preached wait till life after death to meet up with jesus in heaven?
I actually don't have time in my day to engage with your stupidity, but history has shown that's never stopped you in the past. Hopefully you can avoid going on mod preview, but maybe not.

I deleted that part, as I was in the middle of putting him on Mod Preview, as I also identified that part as utter "stupidity" that didn't even deserve a response from you.
