New Moderator on CEO!!! YaY!!!!!!

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

New Moderator on CEO!!! YaY!!!!!!

Post by General Mackevili »

Ok, so CEO is obviously MUCH bigger and more active now than we were when we first launched earlier this year in May, 6 months ago. We have found a Mod that has been on CEO since the beginning and has also been in Cambodia for a long time, so a great addition to the CEO powers that be. :beer1:

He is in Cambodia, so we are all spread out around the globe now, all in different time zones. This should help with matters that have to be handled in a timely fashion.

He can pretty much do anything, so feel free to contact him with Mod stuff too when needed.

We are glad to see everyone's support of CEO and it's nice to see us get big enough to start adding Moderators! This site has come a long way (thanks to everyone's help) in the last few months when it was just brand new squeaky clean and empty . Now it's full with members and interesting posts about anything and everything! We continue to attract cool peeps that are interested in Cambodia and like being a part of the online community.

And remember, we all do this for the fun of it! You might not agree with every decision a Mod makes, but were here to keep things running smoothly so that we ALL have a fun place to chat about whatever interests us. We value everyone, so always feel free to give us advice and suggestions and we will do what we can.

And if you are still reading, you are probably wondering who it is......Username Taken!! :hattip: His name should turn a crazy green color in just a minute....

I would have a drink to celebrate, but the bootleg wine we are making isn't ready here yet. Image

So again, thanks to everyone who keeps this site busy enough that we needed to start adding more to the team, and a special thanks to the brave souls that go out of their way to start new topics!!!! Image

Does that mean that other site will still refer to here as StroppyChops.com?

Ha! That was one of the biggest compliments to our site!

The fact that we are getting so big that they can't even allow their posters to mention "CEO" because they are afraid that too many people will find us.

They realized a little too late that CEO is a real threat to their site.

For them to consider us a real threat and start acting accordingly by censoring their posters is as great of a compliment as they could ever give us.

We're just thankful they waited way too late to come to that realization. :thumb:

When I first started using this site, I found it a little difficult to use, being ''different '' but now I can see there are more good things about it. Firstly, no-one here has ever called me a ''twatflannel'' , yet, and posting photos is so much easier with not having to put them onto another site first like photobucket. Then there's the ''spoiler''. I hope everyone can contribute to make this place a success.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

I think CEO should start a new tradition: every time a new moderator position is given, that said moderator invites all members to a restaurant/bar (which members voted on) and picks up the bill afterwards. All in favour say "ay"...
