The original Alice Pub on 144 where you had to duck to go inside because the ceiling was 1.6 meters high is gone. Been gone a long time. Since 2015? 2016? She moved over to street 130 where she has a much bigger but less busy bar. But if you know where the old bar was on street 144 you'll know where this bar is.

thanks... i am still confused as to why there are 2 bars named Alice Pub.. or do people just keep calling the location of the old Alice Pub-- by the old name.. which is "alice pub"... or am i missing something?

My guess would be that the original owner was too lazy or cheap to take down the Alice's Pub sign when she moved out. New owner saved a few bucks by keeping the same name.
