More problems IN Rattanak House STAY AWAY FROM HERE

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

It seems some people are making a joke of this.
Wanker Wat wrote: Sat Jan 26, 2019 7:29 am They stole your cutlery? That's weird. Like forks and spoons? Was it stuff they had provided and were then going to charge you for "losing" or was it your personal spatula and whatnot?

Time to move, obviously. I don't think Judge Heng Heng Wapner will order them to pay your security deposit but keep us updated on what happens there.
Have I interpreted this wrong?

If it happened to you it would not be a joke.

Move out. Dont put up with it. Warn others.

it is a joke,
i find it very hard to believe someone entered his apt to steal spoons and forks.
and how would anyone know if they tried to open his safe? Did he dust it and look for fingerprints??
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

I stayed in a serviced apartment in Ha Noi where exactly the same thing happened. Cutlery and crockery would disappear just before a new tenant moved into another apartment. I did not care much as I had no need for it.

If you have the feeling, or have proof, someone entered your apartment there are loads of ways to check if it happens again. If someone would come into my apartment and after complaining the landlord would provide me with an electronic safe I would be highly suspicious about it and not put anything valuable in it, but I probably would set up some 'traps' to check if someone else would try to get access to it.

Did they do it just to complete the set at the other apartment for the new tenant?

Or would they try to charge you for the 'missing' stuff?

So it is no longer OK to make fun of people who have died.

But it is OK to make fun of someone who has had someone go into his apartment when he is not there, and take things.

How about having sympathy for everybody who has any kind of misfortune.

It’s not hard to see pry marks on a safe. People on here and TOF are quick to shout “troll” whenever someone posts something unusual and I’ve never understood that. Maybe because I’m a part time troll. I’ll always say “he’s paranoid and imagining it” before accusing someone of an insincere post.
