Monks Find Peacock Stuck in Trap

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Cambodia News: According to a social media account named Preap Sam Ol, on October 29, 2019, the Rokavon monk committee found the peacock stuck in the trap in the forest in Oddar Meanchey. The peacock was severely injured in the trap and died.
Please, all Cambodians, help to protect wildlife and stop killing them by using illegal traps.

RIP, beautiful, almost mythical, Cambodian treasure.

I hear them occasionally, haunting
but have never see one in the wild
this vid is worth a quick watch, full screen if you can

He's not dead, he's resting. Beautiful plumage. Eyes still open.
Meum est propositum in taberna mori,
ut sint Guinness proxima morientis ori.
tunc cantabunt letius angelorum chori:
"Sit Deus propitius huic potatori."
