Grandma Ens: Orphans, AIDS and Jesus in Cambodia

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

my religion is ___________?
nobody's business and that is how it should stay for everyone.
nearly every war is foisted on the populace by use of religion.
that's your choice for you
others do their life different
we are only talking about it in a topic on the subject

john takes personal umbrage at me & want to be a nasty man, that's his failing and ignores other posters especially recently with memes. let him hate and lie on here because he wouldn't dare offline as we well know.

too many think religion should get a free pass on scrutiny & too many reply on here directed at the poster not their posts
id really like to meet many in person and see how they talk then
I suspect its far different

lets ALL stop cherry picking the little facts we want or shouting bigot to fake a win & just discuss properly
The links I posted covered a wide period of time, I'm not sure why you are singling out 1948-2016 or why you think it is somehow unrelated. I'm not about to spend the rest of my day researching just because posters on here are too lazy/ ignorant to check their facts.

Anyway almost every post you make is you obsessing about religion. Considering nobody on here seems particularly religious, who exactly are you trying to preach to?
read the thread full of posts from others
youre just a liar saying that and being nasty because you enjoy it
that why you shouted bigot to someone else, shouted prejudice to someone & now ignorant to me
youre projecting and its a fallacy argument as usual

I wasn't calling you lazy or ignorant, that line was addressed to the poster who asked this, and when they got an answer they didn't like ignored the evidence:

Then this gem:

try talking as you would in person
youd have no teeth if you talked offline as you do online
Just a bit of advice: You are new in this country, so don't bother acting the tough guy. It won't end well. All this nonsense about religion being the cause of all evil, it certainly plays its part but human nature, with its inherent greed, self-centeredness and propensity for violence plays a much greater part, as you have again proved.

I haven't said anything nasty, it was you who posted threatening messages. I think you need to lay off the juice for a bit.

I'm not sure why Pakistan would want to take in Rohingyas, as they are the wrong kind of Pakistani, i.e. East Ones. They're ethnically Bangladeshi. There's a history of them not liking each other. Islam has not had a renaissance yet, it's still a young religion and as such the wrong kind of Islam, much as being the wrong kind of Christian, is going to send you to hell. Whilst we in the west have spent out our energies burning heretics some two-ish centuries before, they have yet to keep up. I'm sure the Sauds will find a way to stick them in as slaves, though. The Omanis and Qataris can squash them on building sites. Or they can drive taxis in UAE. I guess there's a place for them. If any of them are any good at cooking food they can make money in the UK.

A lot of recent posters on both forums are illiterate, bigoted fuckwits. The forums used to be much more fun. Those who like to bash Islam and suggest that they don't host refugees are just ignorant.
Are the Wahabis still influencing things in the Kingdom or have they been warned off by the HS/Chinese regime in place now.
