Man Killed by Fireworks During Close of King’s Anniversary C

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Roman candle wars, bb gun wars.

It's a miracle I still have an eye.

My best buddy had to wear a patch for a while after one of us shot a paint ball in his eye.

We caught a college dorm on fire at a summer campish thing once. Probably would have gotten away with it but I had written my name on the bag of them we left behind.

Pretty scary....worst experience of my life next to the bus ride to Bangkok. No one got killed by about a dozen hurt and a fishing boat sunk.

Everybody in the states has a least 1 horror story. Bottle rocket in the eye. Looking into a tube at the wrong time. etc etc.

I do miss it and I love the smell.
How the hell did your uncle get mortars of that size in the US? Shit is regulated to the stars and back here... is he licensed?

Yeah Licenses....1 of those things. Sure why not!?

Minister Calls Fatal Fireworks Blast ‘Not a Big Deal’

Defense Minister Tea Banh on Sunday said a fireworks explosion that killed one man and injured seven more in Phnom Penh last week was “not a big deal,” while international pyrotechnics experts said over the weekend that the incident could have easily been prevented with proper safety precautions.
