I believe he may well be 'innocent' - any Caucasian who gets dreadlocks is probably too stupid to realize he is passing on counterfeit money.

Yes, good point Bedazzz. I just suggested to the mods to maybe take my post with the photo down.
She certainly doesn't deserve shaming, not that anyone was trying to do that.

Certain people have been exposed to fakes, others haven't. When I get money from an ATM, I check. I paid for a guest house in a small town recently, and she didn't look closely at the notes. Not everyone is aware of the fakes.

In my experience the $100 gets a thorough scrutiny - worthy of the KGB - whenever and wherever presented.

Personally, I just check the polymer band by feel and the color change ink 100 number by eye.

It's about time they changed the 50$ bill - most are downright tatty.
