CEO took this from a closed facebook group and reposted here. The group where he posted it only have one purpose, to warn about unhonest people in cambodia to other members. So if you have a problem you can ask CEO why they posted it here. The victim did not.

This guy posted his sob story on FACEBOOK, closed group or not. Anyone can join that group and cut and paste from that group and republish without limit to help "raise awareness". After all, the let CEONews in!

Always funny to see people complain about 'a book' or 'a wall of text' when there are more than a few soundbites or sentences to read. This was a couple of minutes at most. Yes I think more than a few people have read the reply and those who complain about length of text usually have 'read' their last book in their infancy: one with many pictures and large letters.

I think you’re being pretty cynical, there’s a degree about warning others and naming and shaming going on.

The city knows about Elliott and I always see the best in people first....but unfortunately it's story after story of this happening. I can honestly say I like him but he's clearly going down the wrong path.

With regards to bill, if you support someone out of the kindness of your heart and they betray you, it just needs to be chalked up to "you can't win em all", don't stop helping people but also don't ignore blatant red flags.

It's just a shame to see posts like these, I had an inflammatory post about myself go onto Facebook and it really hurt (because it was completely false). All you have to do in those situations is just rely on the numbers of people that know you're a good guy and a man of your word outnumbering the negative ones.

Just sad to see this stuff, it's a small town and some people go down some dark paths for the whole community to see. Sad times.

Sorry to hear your story. I've been scammed by 2 guys here. One a tall American named Will. His partner is a Scottish guy named Alastair. They owe people, bars, hotel restaurant $1000s. They are pure scam artists. They say they have a company in Thailand. Always waiting for money paid into ABA bank here.
