Beware of these guys. The manager of Beach Club Resort had just reported on the Cambodian Scammers Facebook Page that these 2 Russian tourists for sneaking out in the middle of the night and skipping their bill.

Please watch out for these individuals:
ELDAR SEITABLAEV born 14, June 1983
passport number xxxxxx
and
ELVINA SEITABLAEVA born 25, March 1988
passport number xxxxxx
traveling together and left the hotel at 3 AM without paying.

looking at Eldar public facebook page it seems they have been very active in Asia...

I've seen the internet protect others in this way.

I was staying at a friend's guesthouse in Lombok who was reading a local travel forum when an alert came of two young British backpackers who had skipped from the Gilli Islands owing money. We were sitting having a beer together in the garden after she'd mentioned the two to me when they casually strolled in looking for a room. My friend took their booking, and their money, made contact with the guesthouse owner in the Gillis, then sat them down and suggested they give her the money owed before they found themselves in a spot of bother.

They did, rather shocked that between the time they left the islands and arrived at the guesthouse word was out. The girl was particularly embarrassed, the lad more pissed off that they'd been caught, I thought. They were soon on their way next day.

I've stayed at 500 hotels I bet, & I can't think of more than a couple that didn't ask for a credit card (or make me pay up front). I'm surprised that Estonians would trust a Russian. Why did they copy the Myanmar Visa instead of the pp ?

Yeah, I noticed that. Kind of odd. And his visa to Myanmar is 12 months. Is that a tourist visa or is he likely working/living there? Hmmm

At the bottom of the visa is says 'Annotation ZTE'.

Maybe he works/ed for ZTE in Myanmar.

Update:

Attention. This morning I posted a warning about two russian hotel guests. After the event this morning I sent a private message to one off them and since then I have been in constant contact with him. He told me he paid the bill upon check in but after watching CCTV footage and confirming to him that he has not paid, he has decided to pay the bill. we agreed it must have been a misunderstanding. End of the day everything went well.

I saw this thing on facebook, yeah, so had to post it here, yeah, didn't bother to blank out the names of anyone on facebook, yeah, cos its like already public on a private facebook group yeah, cos nobody who reads this site, like has facebook cos they dont like it or aint hip enough, or has facebook, but prefer to read shit about facebook on here cos its better.

Makes me wonder whether some posters have a link to cambodia solely through facebook.
