Living the dream with shirtless Sean Chance

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Me?

No, but I'm not going to show my pathetic atrophied body to prove it. :dm:

Is Sean Chance envious or just an arsehole? Fifteen year olds, come on you dickhead. You must know that a slur like that is bollocks, tell us about yourself and your experience in Cambodia.

You didn't watch the video then, did you? That is a direct line spoken by the shirtless guy in the video. That is not my view at all.

I reckon. He's just left North America and hey, he's discovered that PP is more amazing than Vegas, after a smoke or a pizza, whatever. It's a video for his friends back home - and he's just "wowing". (He just got here; he'll learn that he should wear a shirt. )

Otherwise, it reminds me of the "wonder" of those first days in Cambodia. It's clueless, but hey, if you had filmed your first moments in the KOW, how do you think you would come across ?? Huh ?
I remember my first day - with jetlag and the arrival, it was a total trip. Fantastic and spacey and so happy. One of the best days of my life maybe... discovering Cambodia and rediscovering SEA. :Yahoo!:

LoL, edited this stuff a bit, as I see there was a miscommunication about WHO said it.

I was confused too, until I watched the 5-minute selfie.

I remember my first day here also. There were no lights anywhere, hardly any businesses open after dark. I saw a dead guy in the street in one of the side roads off the riverside. And there was a muddy patch along the river side where I was told that people went to pick up the younger girls.
Of course the other board denies knowing anything about it. :dm: :thumb:

That's something that no joker guy is always going on about in his videos too. He has somehow assumed that all male expats here are fat, greasy 60+ slobs who walk around with 15-year-old hooker girlfriends. Maybe I just don't go out to the same places as him, but I don't see this. I do sometimes spot old guys walking around with worn-out 20-35 year old hooker types, but I would guess by the way they dress, act etc that these guys are mostly tourists.
People who don't know or don't want to know better tend to make strange assumptions. When my son was just born, I was waiting by a tuk-tuk nearby a hairdressers in BKK for the misses and her sister to finish getting their hair done. A relation was holding my son - at the time she was about 16 and quite small. This NGO woman walks past and I don't think I've ever seen such a disgusted face in my life. I felt like shouting "She's just the goddamn babysitter", then I thought what's the fucking point, she's already convinced herself.
Silence, exile, and cunning.
