List Time- Great Massage Places (No dirty places)

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Impossible to compare because the quality of all types of massages in Cambodia vary from place to place, person to person and are not necessarily related to the cost (ie. more expensive doesn't always mean better). Best to just try out different places until you find a masseuse/masseur that you are satisfied with, and keep using that same person/place.
Spot on.

I've tried dozens of places over the last 5 years or so and it varies wildly from really good to absolutely no idea. The blind places are probably the best bet but once again they vary in skill levels a fair bit. Also been a bit of an issue with good staff moving on - when you find someone really good you want to get them next time and it is disappointing to find that they've moved on.

Tried a place just near Domino bar recently and the girl there did shiatsu style and it was surprisingly good.

Aren't you just as likely to get a man masseuse as a female at the blind massage places? I know it's just a massage, but still...

I've had male and female at the blind places and it is always clothed or wearing pajamas (never tried oil at the blind joints). You should be able to specify what you want, or go elsewhere. If I wanted a sensual massage I certainly wouldn't be heading for the blind places...

I ALWAYS get a guy at the blind places. Both in and out of PP. And they always sit on your back and you can almost feel their balls on your back... But yeah, decent massage most of the time (I go to them for roughly 30% of my massages). Coincidentally, I was in Saigon recently and two gay guys were pushing for me to get a massage (at my hotel). The price was right so I figure OK, but as one of them led me upstairs, I started feeling uneasy and wanted to ask them if they had any female staff, but thought it would sound "bad/homophobic". Luckily, upstairs was definitely not a male brothel. I ended up getting a masseur, but DAMN was he good. Fucking energetic. Only downside was that they charged me 200 000 song despite the listed price of 8$ (160 000 dong). Should have made a fuss but didn't... Vietnam after all....

I did say "almost"... If you've never been to the blind places, it's worth a try. They're better trained but the massages tend to be "rough". It's a weird mix of bliss and torture.

Not quite, in our experience, but still pretty good once you find the right place. Expect to pay around $8 an hour.

I had a great massage at Open Arms on street 155, however this is for ladies only.
