Lias bye bye haowii

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Lias bye bye haowii

Post by taabarang »

:Rose: I'll try to keep this short and sweet. My latest scan revealed bladder cancer at an advanced stage. My plan is to take the "final exit" approach and am procuring the necessary chemicals; it hasn't been easy and if you can help please pm me.

This forum has meant a lot to me. Living isolated as I do I have been connected to many other old time expats who have shared their feelings and experience. This fact has strengthened me to jeep on keeping on, but death is waiting at the final stretch.

Before bidding adieu I would like to mention the two mods who have meant the most to me. First is FLB who combines erudition, humor and uncommon sense in terse prose. Then there is Jamie.who knows how to get to the bottom of Khmer linguistic issues (among other things).

Sorry I can't mention other occasional sources of inspiration, generally if you talked straight from an informed point if view, you contributed to my.growth. In closing if I thought you were an uninformed touron twit, I made my feelings abundantly clear.

As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

I do not know you and have never met you but I salute your attitude. An acceptance of life and death,

Sorry to hear taabarang.

Always enjoyed your posts, especially those about rural idioms in the language threads.

Hope when my time comes I get a similar opportunity to go with dignity.

All the best to you and your family, mate.

I have always enjoyed your posts even when we disagreed. I don't know if we have met in meatspace. I'm sorry to hear about your choice and condition. I wish you and your family well. Thank you for these memories.

Best take some legal advice to keep your family in the clear with the authorities.
